Well? Should I get into PC?
What's the GPU cunt
>>332047604
Oops, my bad.
Radeon HD 6970 I believe
Where to buy OP or did you get a deal from someone?
>>332047519
Check the PSU. If the wattage is less than the GPU's need you'll have to upgrade.
>>332047519
for 300? I think so, you can always upgrade GPU later if you need
>>332048342
A deal from someone I personally known for years.
>>332047519
Yeah its worth it, just upgrade psu if needed
I guess a better question is: is this powerful enough? Like I know some people may scoff and be like "Pfft - ONLY 6970?!"
>>332047519
what do you want to play?
>>332047519
>>332048278
For 300 dollary doos, sure.
>>332047519
Bad deal.
>>332049234
6970 is still a pretty groovy card for playing shit on low-mid settings.
Nadeko is cute!
>>332049551
deal is deal anon
>3.06ghz
thats a 1st gen i7, the PC is about 5 or so years old
for $300 its good if you don't have another computer though

128gb SSD fills up very fast, Winblows is a space hog, so you'll have to uninstall games to install others.
>>332049889
If you're going to play low-mid settings you might as well buy a console.
>>332050421
>128gb SSD fills up very fast
Only if you're retard about it.
The 6970 isn't GCN - AMD have moved all non GCN cards to legacy support. This means fuck all driver support.
>>332050459
For $300? With a backlog as big as a PC's? with an easily upgradeable part?
>>332050459
But $300 is below the price of a console and this also gives all the utilities of a PC.
>>332047519
What model Alienware is this?
>>332050628
not to mention if you swithch GPUs you should get more juice than consoles and don't wander too far from their price
>>332050592
> with an easily upgradeable part?
I'd be concerned about the fact you are probably buying a 5 year old psu that is unlikely to provide its rated wattage anymore. Even ignoring that possibility it might not even be able to provide the wattage you need on the 12v rail(s) to make upgrading viable.
>>332047519
For $300 it's a no brainer
youll want a bigger SSD. at least 256 although 400-500 will give you plenty of room for OS + programs + games
don't expect amazing performance with that videocard though. Also your CPU is kind of dated. it's fine for most games but you will experience slow downs if you want to play EU IV for example on the fastest setting
is this it op?
