Kamiya doesn't strike me as arrogant, he just doesn't seem to give a fuck about appearances. He seems pretty nice to most people, any instance when he blocks people or tells them to shut up is usually just because they were saying dumb things anyhow. He hardly even seems to take twitter posts seriously.
Phil Fish is an asshole not because he can't "back up" his arrogance, but because he's just an opinionated asshole who never has a nice thing to say about anyone. All he ever wants to discuss is how great he is and how shit everyone else is. The fact that he's only produced one mediocre game is just the icing.

Her whole contract with them is to get them into reality so they can munch on angels, it's kind of fucked up.
And sure she cares about other people, but only other people she KNOWS. Throughout the first and second games she gets countless civilians killed by going fucking crazy in major metropolitan areas, I can think of like four or five different times where tens of thousands of people must have been offed through collateral damage alone.
Sure Dante fucks up sometimes with that like in the anime or DMC4, but at least they talk about how it's a bad thing and have Trish and Lady actively protecting people while Dante deals with the big bad guy.
