The worst part about friendlies is that they get mad in chat after we kill them. It's as if we weren't supposed to do that in the first place.
But I tend to avoid killing them, since they can be useful sometimes with their sandviches, since that stuff heals enemies and teammates if dropped.

Most pub snipers are so awful. They will stay back no matter what, even if having another body moving forward would be a big help.
Also pub players have no idea what to do when a competent sniper is playing. I'm not saying somebody who who is good at sniping, just someone who has situational awareness and will pull out the SMG when an enemy is close. I've killed so many players with the SMG just because they don't expect snipers to put up any sort of fight once you're close to them.
