So here we have all the missing content restored, as well as updated shit from the Mobile version, and then extra/cut content from TTDISA. And if you can get SA::Render to work you now have dynamic shadows for buildings, vehicles, peds etc., real reflections, enhanced lighting etc.
Basically a homemade version of a "San Andreas: Scholarship Edition."

Yeah, just don't use the links in the Steam Guide. Try to find the original source of the mods. They may be updated or something. The list I provided is pretty much what you need. There may be a couple other things I'm missing, but I can't remember. That should be it though.

Forgot to mention, the Steam Guide is basically just a way to install everything I listed so the PS2 and Mobile stuff is properly installed.
It's not mentioned, but install TTDISA first since that adds new files and shit. You'll want the PS2 and Mobile stuff to overwrite whatever needs to be.

It's probably the best mod for San Andreas. Comparable to the big community mods you see for Bethesda games. Pretty nice seeing something get done in the GTA Modding community for once.
But yeah, it restores all the cut content, bugfixes, stuff from the other 3D games etc. It's like an unofficial expansion pack. Kind of comparable to how they added stuff in Bully SE that wasn't in the original game.

Downgrade should always be the first thing you do. Installing TTDISA might be a bit tricky though on newer OSes so you can't do the normal install from the mod page.

It's not that difficult. You used to have to reinstall San Andreas under a certain compatibility mode, install TTDISA in a different compatibility mode, and RUN SA in ANOTHER mode. It was a mess.
This just has you install TTDISA like normal, install a patch, then apply Silent's or the other guy's TTDISA fix. This is modding.
