It's not unplayable no, but the frame rate is terrible. It really should have just been a N3DS exclusive.

Easier to sell n3ds units this way. If you have Legends you can transfer some of the characters for free otherwise it'll be DLC available as either seperate packs or in the form of a new season pass which is cheaper than the last due to it being characters and costumes only.

Alright. I have it on the N3DS and have put around 20 hours into it.
Haven't had any noticeable frame drops thusfar.
The Wind Waker story sucks and is only around 4 missions.

I have enjoyed it so far though.
I'm still debating whether to pick it up or not this Friday, I own both a 3DSXL and N3DSXL, so frame rate shouldn't be a problem. I don't own a WiiU and not planning on picking one up. I do enjoy LoZ and musou though.

What are the controls like? More specifically, what do the ZL/ZR buttons do? How does the c-stick feel? I sometimes find the c-stick to be annoying in some games.

Not him but ZL is the lock and ZR is the magic liberation. They're also mapped on up/down on the cross for those with regular 3DS.

ZL targets, but I use musou controls so it's likely different for Zelda controls.
C stick is good. I don't use it but it feels fluid to control the camera with.
