On the contrary, I'd think Mr. Karate is the "prime." It's one thing for someone like Tung to be out of the loop due to age, but in Japan, older people are usually considered powerful (with light hair, like blonde and white hair being considered symbols great strength.) That said, I think Takuma's hit his peak and mastered his art without the worry of age. Now if only Ryo could follow in his footsteps.
