THIS is the real article, which clearly has the spokesperson saying that production will continue to the next fiscal year, and beyond that, as well as the console being continue to be made alongside another console that will be launching this year. Again claiming that both the Wii U and NX will be getting games side by side equally, not the NX replacing the Wii U. Nikkei got blown out pretty badly.

Nikkei said Wii U production would be over this year, then Nintendo came out and said they'll keep making Wii U systems past fiscal Q1 (Apr 1 to June 30). They didn't say a single word about Q3 (Oct 1 to Dec 31), which is when they're almost certainly dropping Wii U for real.
