If you play without a shield, which some overconfident veterans of the series did, including myself, you were basically playing with worse than DaS1 fat-roll iframes until you pumped your agility up to 90, which matches it. To get the useful light roll iframes, you need 105 agility. Medium is workable of course but light is definitely preferable if you aren't using an alternate method of defence.
