The PS4 can barely keep 30fps at 1080p, unless the jump in power is fucking massive there's no way in hell it could do 4K, and if the jump in power really is that massive then it's going to be insanely expensive. At best a "PS4.5" is going to offer 4K video streaming but keep gaming at 1080p so don't worry about buying your Bloodborne machine.

Yeah, the people that think a new PS4 could play games at 4K are retarded. That would need 4x the ROP count, 4x the shaders, a faster memory subsystem, and more RAM. The jump from PS3 to PS4 was roughly 2x the resolution yet people think Sony is going to release an upgrade 3 years into the generation that runs games at 4x the PS4's resolution?
It's just HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2, literally the only thing stopping PS4 and Xbox One from supporting 4K Amazon, Netflix, and VUDU.
