Lame, the whole point of TF2 is to play the class you feel your team needs at a givin time.
Getting pushed to easily? Go heavy.
Sentry slowing you down? Play as spy and camp in a spot near the sentry and wait until a push is made to sap it.
I really wish pub spys knew how to play more effectivly, it best to just stay in one place and wait to sap a sentry, or wait to do a backstab in the middle of fight sicne spy's a re literally the class that can turn the tide.

I don't, it's too annoying and stressing. Especially on mix, where everyone will go relentless after your ass and you need to be aware of your surroundings all the fucking time, it's a no fun role and expects you to have the patience of a saint.

I only play medic with competent teams. Too many times I got medic and suddenly my team is scout, spy, and sniper central, and fuck that shit. Even when the team comp is good the actual players are so meh I'd rather skip the middle man and kill myself.
Being a medic on a good team is pretty boss though.
