So I finally caved and bought pic related. So far have Disgaea 5, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, and Bloodbourn, and pre-ordered DoAX 3. What other games are out or ones coming on the horizon to look out for? Obviously weeb games welcome.

Definitely looking forward to ratchet and clank, but i'v heard some worrying things about it like frame rate issues and some quality drop from previous titles.. Also how does the PS4 gravity rush compare to the vita one? never played it on the vita but heard good things but wonder if its better to get it on it rather than the port.

If you're gonna play Gravity Rush the remaster is better in every way. The graphics are much cleaner (though it's still clearly a Vita game), framerate is a constant 60, and the controls are vastly improved (such as the gravity slide being controlled with the triggers and analog instead of the fucking touchscreen and gyroscope, making it actually useful/fun instead of frustrating).

Gravity Rush, Killzone: shadowfall(it may look like your typical modern shooter, but actually killzone was always built around labyrinthine levels Doom-style with fast movement), Infamous: Second son. Out of coming Ni-oh Gravity rush 2 and Nier: Automata look most promising.
Should have waited for a PS4k, I predict a scenario similar to the New 3DS where new games will run on an old PS4 but will run at lower resolution and framerates similar to games like Hyrule Warriors

It's a marketing buzzword. The current PS4 only supports HDMI 1.4 which doesn't support 4k resolutions.
The new revision will supposedly have increased CPU and graphical capabilities but also the HDMI standard 2.0 which is 4K.
No way in hell it can run games at 4k when even a PC with 2000 dollars worth of graphics cards struggles.
