I've recently taken an interest in games like muramassa demon blade and Odin sphere, I've come to you guys for suggestions of similar games either on PC, ps3, psp or 3ds.

Dust is a fantastic game. Don't get why animal characters trigger you so much.

And I thought the request was for games similar to Odin Sphere and Muramasa, not for games with fantastic artstyles specifically. The gameplay is very similar. And besides, Dust's background artwork is gorgeous.

I highly doubt that. I've just started playing Muramasa today after buying it last night and it's mashy as fuck. I feel that the depth of the combat comes from timing your sword switches and iframes from ability activation and less combos (though there are some combo friendly abilities).

Don't think the comboing was the focus moreso than being good at staying alive.
By mid game its not just timing your sword switches, its feeling out which swords to bring in the first place. The enemies get tougher and by that point its dodging and take advantage of openings
Dust in comparison is much more combo friendly, but that's a lot of parts due to your air attacks and how floaty you get being a horizontal blender for 75% of the game. If its sheer number of hits, yes, Dust will beat practically any game out there. You'll also be above the enemies more times than you want to be

I think there's an item to get you back to the entrance and anyway at the speed you run it should take you less than 2 minutes.

You're supposed to be using the one item that warps you back to your last save point and it costs almost nothing. The enemy encounters come back once you leave the special area after you beat the boss, and will be like normal outside it.
