Yeah that is true but personally I think adding good shadows and having the world feel more alive with small details like mgs2 or even Cybersleuth did it would have improved the whole thing. I mean look at Cybersleuth, it had fucking ps2 textures and looked like ass but at least it had a shitload of little details in its world which made the whole world look alive. I don't know why but in Superhot everything looked out of place and even if it was intentional to underline the disconnect from the real world it just felt bad. Cybersleuth also had passages about the digital world and stylistically it made them a lot better. Not even gonna start about actual cyberpunk games where you have proper and good looking digital worlds.
