ITT: Good games with putrid fanbases. I'll start.
Street Fighter fans are some of the worst out there. The only ones that are really tolerable are the pro-level players, and only because they rarely open their mouths to voice their terrible opinions like everyone else in the community. In general, your average Street Fighter fan will most likely be rabidly elitist and mocking when it comes to any other fighting game franchise and their fans, they only value female roster additions for the porn value (which Capcom admittedly plays to), and the ones that manage to get any good at the games will rarely ever divulge bread-and-butter information to help noobies get started on the franchise. SF fans are pompous autismos who stroke their own egos constantly over their favorite character-specific flowcharts that they got from meta tutorial videos they refuse to share with anybody else.
Moreover, your usual Street Fighter fan is a massive Capcom apologist. As good as the games are, all the attention and promotion that Capcom showers upon the series has honestly detracted from almost all of their other IPs over the years to the point that they now live and die off of Street Fighter alone. However, when fans of those other franchises voice their complaints, SF fans will often tell them to stop being so entitled and whiny. The trainwreck release of SFV, however, drove home sweet irony as it divided the fanbase into those complaining about a product that's clearly unfinished and the vocal apologists telling them they should have known the game plan from the start and that it's their own fault for expecting so much out of Capcom from the get go (as if a finished game on release is unthinkable these days).

Literally dozens of guides/FAQs, hundreds of videos, and thousands of forum topics are available for new players. Many Street Fighter players are always looking to make new friends through the game and will train literally anyone with even the slightest interest in the game if they are asked.

These are not 1-frame links. Bison is not a character for beginners.
The absolute beginner is better served to watch videos with a more general topic and then apply it to their character. And remember you can also simplify the combos you see in a video. You do not need to do cr. lk x 3 xx scissors kick. You can simply do cr. mk xx scissors kick or psycho crusher, which is much easier.
Videos are highly overrated. Forums are where it is at.

Fit women are attractive. There's no getting around that. You can call it a little bit of fanservice the way her thighs are highlighted in her stockings, but this is a very small thing compared to other fighting game series, some of which have an actual boob bouncing adjustment in the options, or bikini costumes.
And anyway, this is more about the SF players than Capcom. The SF fanbase of tournament players (not storymode-only casuals) has never cared at all if a character is sexy or not. They only care about winning. Sakura dominated in CvS2 because of v-ism sho'oken, not because you could see her panties.

Basically all of them.
I mean, you will occasionally run into a fanbase that's decent or at least low-key. Unusually it's for some exceptionally obscure game, where the few people who even care don't talk with each other. Beyond that, video game fanbases tend to be exceptionally obnoxious regardless of the game involved.
A lot of them are probably drawing from the same pools of people, so that's likely a big cause.

I hate myself for it but I picked it up today on impulse. I no longer have a Ps4 of my own, even, but I've got buddies with Ps4's and a brother with one so I'll just pass the game around amongst them and bum their systems to get my fill. I intend to play him in V, yes, but I understand that learning how to do standard combos while charging a special is integral to playing a character like Bison, and I feel like if I learned that in IV it might help me get better in V when the time comes for me to start getting good there.
In IV I'm mostly learning Akuma and Juri as my go-to characters, though.
