So I beat Hotline Miami yesterday (yes, I know I'm late) and there's something that confused me.In Jacket’s storyline, he kills Biker during the fight at the phone company, but when you play as Biker, he kills Jacket. Jacket killing Biker takes place during the memories from inside the coma, so I can understand that not being entirely accurate (maybe Biker survived), but that would mean that unless Biker is remembering the events at the phone company wrong, Biker actually killed Jacket. That’s impossible though because Jacket went on more missions for 50 Blessings after the fight against Biker. Am I missing something? Whose storyline is the right one, or are they both wrong?
Also if the answer involves spoilers for the second game, don't bother. I haven't played HM2 yet and I wanna go in unspoiled.

Biker story is confirmed to be extra content just added on as a "what if" scenario.
Biker's fucking dead.
Jacket is alive in Hotline Miami 2 and biker isnt, so stop making up theories that are years late.

thanks for clearing it up. sorry I'm so late with this.
Hotline thread, post Manny Pardo.

Biker is alive in hotline miami 2 dumb fuck
>>331480837
>biker isn't
did you even play the game
>>331480837
Except for the fact the biker shows up in hotline 2

Bar of Broken Heroes is non-canon smart-asses, even Beard and hobo are in there.
>>331481634
Except he shows up outside of Jacket's trial.
Jacket's fight with Biker is during Jacket's coma dream. He hallucinated that he killed him when he didn't and this is why Richter gets sent to kill Jacket.

That's why he has the mark in his face, when Jacket finished him with the golf club. Then why the hell he was in Jacket's trial? Didn't he ran away?
>>331480632
what if I told you that they're both right?
but first
am i the only one who would totally go for an orgy with the Fans
>>331482327
He came back like he said he did in the Bar of Broken Heroes. Honestly ignoring all of the cameo appearances of dead characters in that scene, I think Biker's interview actually did happen.
>>331482327
He fucked Biker up, but he didn't actually kill him.
I don't know if there's any given or hinted reason for why he came back to Miami.
>>331482835
I forget, are they ever canonically called "the fans" or is it just a thing the fans (ha) made up
>>331483007
They're called The Fans in the achievements so it's definitely canon, but if it's mention somewhere other than that I don't know.
>>331483007
They were called the fans by the devs in a few interviews before the game came out iirc.
>>331483210
>>331483171
ah, okay, thanks for clarifying
>>331482901
>>331482956
I know he came back, but why in the trial, did he had some kind of remorse for Jacket after he met"him"? Which he states in his interview, who could probably be Richard.
Or he just wanted to see Jacket going to jail?
>>331483310
Probably wanted some kind of closure for everything that happened. Since Jacket winning that fight is the canon outcome, he still doesn't have a damn clue about what any of the phonecalls or murders were actually about.
>>331483481
how can it be an orgy if there's only one person, anon?
Besides, I kinda got the sense that the Son is in his 40s or so because of the art style. I could be wrong, that's just what I assumed. At least the Fans seem younger.
>>331482835
>Not wanting to go on a orgy with The Son.

Had to re-upload due fail spoiler tag. Maybe with the The Son, Henchman and his prostitues, then.
