So, theres this game I can't for the life of me remember the name of. I played it when I was sooooo young, and I'm pretty sure it was one of those [school subject] ages [whatever]-[whatever] games like reader rabbit.
But it starred a dog. And there was a sandbox, and more importantly a MAP that let you go to several islands.

The main character was one (Brown?) dog, and There was a "Playroom" of sorts as one of if not the main area, and the sandbox was in the top (Right?) Half of the area. I just remember you could use either the sandbox or map to travel to islands breifely and the whole game was just my jam.

I remember seeing this one light-gun game in an arcade YEARS ago. The thing I remember most vividly was the attract mode: a montage of this happy family at a picnic, then a bunch of thugs kill them for no fucking reason.
