As long as WoW exists, the fucking story is going nowhere. Feel free to check WH40K if you don't think I'm right. The best thing Blizzard can do for the franchise and their wallets even is to just give WoW a conclusion leading up to WC4, advance the story in a meaningful way and with many years, kill off or resolve the stories of the most contrived muthafuckas in the lore and set the stage for WoW2. As long as they keep propping the festering, maggot ridden corpse of the game for the sake of relative faction balance, things are just going to get shittier and shittier and they are going to keep writing themselves into bigger holes.
Fun part is, WoW was never a great game. Blizzard lucked out on the fact that all the shit was obfuscated by the immersion and community created by the lack of fan sites and data mining along with the grind shifted from levels to attunements, yet every attempt at bringing it back is a step in the wrong direction.

He's still very much evil. Rather than trying to find another solution, he decides to kill everything. He decided to take the easy way out and commits genocide along the way.
The only change here is Sargeras at least has a plausible motivation for his actions now whereas before he was corrupted by nothing basically.

But why would Sargeras turn evil if he is an all powerful Titan? The other titans saw the same as he saw but later on with Azeroth. Instead of destroying Azeroth like Sargeras did with the other planet they chose to get rid of the corruption by defeating the Old Gods. If an Titan can turn "evil" without the Void Lords will then what's the point of sending out Old Gods to corrupt sleeping Titan babies? Sargeras goal is the exact same as the void lords

The difference between Sargeras and a void corrupt Titan is that Sargeras still very much opposes the Void Lords and his actions reflect this. A void corrupt Titan would presumably help the Void Lords enter whatever reality is now and remake it in their image.
They are different types of evil basically with different goals.
