No it's not. The 'leak"was debunked after someone found the screenshot that was used as the controller's screen.
Secondly, if this really is the NX screenshot, the patent was filed way to late into development. End game products also rarely look like the patent their based on.

If this would be realy, it wouldn't be any different than the WiiU controller, but with a more manageble size. It's nothing special, so I don't get why everyone is losing their shit over it.
You can complain about having hand in front of your screen, but you'll be looking at the TV screen. It's no different than a 3DS (where you have your hands in front of the lower screen but mostly look at the top screen).
