Is a PS4 worth it if I plan on getting a gayming PC? It only has 7 games I give a fuck about, compared to probably over 200 on the PC. Maybe if it's on sale for 200/250.

Don't get a system for games that aren't out yet in ways you can play.
I want those, too, along with Dragon Quest 11, but you're better off holding out. A cheaper revision or price cut will probably come by the time those hit.
PS4 would be a better investment if you didn't want a PC at all and were going to use the PS4 for multiplats and indie games or something. As it stands, just wait if you really want one.

You spent 350 for a console, spent 60 for a game, probably spent 60 a year for the online, and probably spent another 10-80 on more games. That's about 550 dollars. If you had about 850 more you could have a rig to max out ANY game at 60 FPS in 1080p. Save money. It's not that hard anon.

Anyhow, if you ONLY want PS4 for AAA exclusives then don't be stupid and like any console ever wait until the generation is over to play all of them without months of drought in between.

I wasn't baiting, though. I do enjoy some JRPGs. I liked what I played of Persona 3, FF6 is one of the best games I've ever played. The PS4 is the waiting simulator and/or console that shares all its games with PC. EDF and Odin Sphere(this is a ps2 game mate) are coming to Steam just like almost everything else.

I really don't know why you'd not get a PS4 by the end of the year then. It's not even something you should think about, it's a must if you like jap games overall. P3 and FF6 being some of your favorites and P5 and FF15 are coming out this year. Alongside a plethora of other jap games.
Even before the big launches in the second half of the year (the ones you see in the PS4 lists that are spammed everywhere) there have been quite a lot of nice games in 2016 alone so far. EDF4.1 (EU release), Digimon Sluts, Salt&Sanctuary, WitchAndTheHundredKnight:RE, GravityRush, and AegisOfEarth:ProtonovusAssault (fusion between AdvanceWars and tower defence). With Ratched, Uncharted4, GundamBreakers3 and Alienation releasing next month. And in June OdinSphere Leifthrasir, GrandKingdom and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator.
That's all of my shopping list, at least.
I tried to avoid any non Sony exclusive like DaS3 and SF5 in that list (aka any game you could also play on PC).
As you can see the majority are AA games, with some indies and AAA's on the side. If you are only interested in the big hitters wait until the end of the year

They really aren't. EDF4.1 on PC is as probable as Half Life3 was on that list. And this Odin Sphere release is a remake, not a remaster. A completely revamped game with new systems ffrom the ground up, plays nothing like the original version. In fact you can choose to play the new or the original.
