I own the remaster. It looks better in most cases, the lighting is a lot more natural and textures are much sharper and have better reflectivity and the like where appropriate.
There are some lighting issues introduced by the latest patch that affect certain areas though and it seems like they gave up supporting the game, but overall I prefer it over the original.

Did they fix any of the game breaking bugs or other clunky bullshit? I stopped partway through Darksiders 2 after having to reload my game for the third time because I'd get screwed over by infinite loading loops or enemies not spawning that you needed to kill to advance.
