I liked this game myself I don't understand the hate it's getting

the track design is more complex but jankier than super mario kart

many probably don't like it just because it isn't properly 3d. only one it can be properly compared with is smk and most other mode 7 racers are worse

I like it a lot back in the day. It was really good for a GBA racing game.

Mario Kart 64 > Mario Kart 8 > Mario Kart DS > Mario Kart Super Circuit > Mario Kart Wii > Mario Kart 7 > Super Mario Kart > Mario Kart Double Dash

I couldn't grasp the horrible controls. It felt like everything was slippery.

It's a shame, because I really want to play it. It's the only MK I still haven't played besides SMK.

probably has to do with the fact that multiplayer on this game was literally impossible because you needed everyone to have the game+system+peripherals
