Okay /v/, what are your honest opinions on WoW? Is it still a fun game to play? I'm considering to open up an account, but I thought I should ask for recommendations first. Thank you in advance.

I can't find a 2's partner my pvp guild doesnt talk or respond, they only do 3's amongst themselves and im always left out because i need gear, i dont want to pay for carries, and i have no friends who play currently, and i don't want to use group finder because people will tell me i suck. when i finally do get gear i will only be able to reach 1400 or so because i suck and everyone above 1400 is really fucking good at the game for some reason and fully geared.

I am thinking about joining for Legion. However i can't really memorize and do efficiently big rotations with lots of keys, is there some class that has to press less amounts of keys?

I like it and lots of other stuff Blizz does.
I won't say it as much because it usually just ends up with me being called a Blizzdrone by some meme spouting fruit.
I stil find WoW pretty enjoyable, but there's a content drought right now. I would sign up for Legion and try it out then if you don't care about getting as many alts as possible to level 100 for Artifact weapons.
As someone who's played WoW for 7 years..
Go see the movie, get WoW sub for a month free with the ticket and see how you find it at that time.
Ain't worth your time currently, fuck all to do and the community are basically cardboard cutouts of people.

Mages traditionally have less to worry about. Avoid locks. I remember arms warriors being brainless but don't know if it's still literally three buttons

If you want a caster I would go for hunters because they have always been good for dps and will always be good as dps because it's the most played class. They have no problem soloing content either.

Its fun if you havent played before. A lot of the bitching tends to be from people who have played it so long its become to routine.
You'll in the very least get a few weeks of fun, which is more than can be said of most games these days.
Just dont roll a Draenei. They are cancer and you'll feel all sorts of out of place in the setting. I'd suggest something horde.

If you started during TBC you think it's garbage, but have a higher chance of still playing.

Then I suggest going for Arcane mage, because Frost has water elemental following you and Fire can be a bit fiddly with the way RNG works on crits.

It's utterly different now from how it was ten years ago, so it's better to ask about old and nu-wow specifically.
WoW nowadays is all about raiding and raiding only, so if that's your thing then you'll likely enjoy it. Otherwise it's not worth playing.
You can find some private servers for older versions of the game when raiding wasn't the be-all and end-all of WoW endgame, but they're all shit for one reason or another.

The endgame is about raiding, you can still do a billion other things, endgame isn't everything.

I wouldn't recommend Balance Druid. Their Moon/Sun system is really dull and you have no real contol over it.
I would go for Shadow priest if that is the case . And if you think about keeping it as a main then you have something to look forward to when it comes to their dps overhaul in legion.
But at the end of the day, it's better for you to just look up what class looks the most enjoyable to play and how it will change in Legion.
