Wanting it to be cancelled is dumb since it won't solve anything and it would never happen anyway, but there's no hope for this game. It's not like it will be in development much longer, the Wii U is already on its way out the door.
I would like to believe that if this flops and people keep up the message that they want the classic PM style to return, Nintendo might try it, but I doubt even that is going to happen. Nintendo doesn't seem to want Mario to be anything that casuals wouldn't expect him to be anymore.
