Its an endless 2D Mario, pick a level in your favourite style and play, or create. Its simple to use, gets updates regularly, and, well, it fucking works. Its perfect, especially for fans of classic Mario.

Many of those are easily replicated by other means. Really all that's missing are slopes, adjustable water levels, and the themes shown (though the most important of the missing themes is desert by far, it's unusual for a desert theme to be missing imo)

I find it disappointing that you can't use mushrooms or fire flowers to turn certain enemies into others, like Hammer Bros into Fire Bros, Boos into Big Boos, Monty Moles into Mega Moles etc. Too late to change that though.

I'd say its very close. The way they keep adding new bits of content to keep me coming back is something I'd like to see more from Nintendo

They're bigger versions of the normal enemy but not the enemies he listed. Like Mega Moles you can stand/ride on and have shades for example. Also Big Boos are technically different enemies, they work the same as a normal Boo with a mushroom though, they only really need to give it another sprite and it'd be a lot more fitting.

It can't really be judged like other games. It's a level editor, but what you do with it is on you. If you're good at making levels, and if you find good levels online, then it could be a 10/10 experience. It just depends on whether or not you're good at making levels and if you like 2D platformers.

If you really like 2D platformers then I would highly recommend it.

Yeah but they're just larger enemies. Boos and Big Boos are different entities, as are Monty Moles and Mega Moles. It's like how Hammer Bros and Sledge Bros aren't quite the same, you get it?

I actually really wanted to make my own version of SMM called SMW Maker or something like that which would be just in SMW's style but with actual physics, have all the enemies from that game, all the objects etc. but with stuff from other Mario games included, the ability to make overworlds etc. Like Lunar Magic in a way. I can't program though.

I don't really see how Big Boos are at all necessary, and honestly I forgot Mega Moles existed - you might be able to replicate them through other means, you can stack enemies afterall.

I guess I agree but I understand why they didn't bother with it. There's many missing assets that would add much more to the game.

I personally just want the desert theme, and its most prominent related assets (pokeys, sun, quicksand, etc.); beach levels (or any means of having water/land hybrid levels); a highscore system for each level; and slopes of course.
