You got off at a good point, atleast you got to see wotlk, which as much slack as it gets, had some of the greatest moments in the entire game/and without a doubr greatest music. Anything past Wotlk is nothing. Don't even allow yourself to look up things on legion.

Well ACTUALLY I've played through every expansion. WotLK was the first time though I actually hit max level, did dungeons/raids etc. because everything got much more accessable by then.
I had already stayed clear off MoP and only rushed through its content by the end of its lifecycle. WoD was when me and my friends planned on playing together again, and goddamn that expansion was pure shit. Everything except questing was utter garbage, and Legion merely looks like a content patch to me. A content patch they charge 50$ for.
I'm pretty sure Hearthstone killed WoW.
