Time to put this thread to good use.
I'm playing Das for the first time and I'm loving it. Just beat the Capra demon. I love how much you have to think for yourself and every boss fight is genuinely nerve wracking.
Thanks for not lying to me /v/, this is one of the best games of the past decade

I'm playing it my first time too. I'm at O&S and keep getting buttfucked. I've rage quit so many times but then I come back like 30 mins later. I think it's turning me into a masochist

It stopped being like that for me after Capra Demon until I fought the DLC bosses. That's mainly because Greatshields pretty much break the game. The areas were still difficult though. I die a lot in pits.
The DLC bosses are amazing though. Shields were almost useless against them and I had to trade my armor for lighter clothes for mobility. Shit was intense and involved a great deal of patter memorization.
