As much as I love TP 2 I'd have to disagree.
TP 2 has better gameplay yes but the atmosphere in SH2 was more effective.

I used to think it was the weakest 3D entry in the series.
Playing the HD remake hasn't really changed my opinion in that regard, but it did make me realise that it's a LOT better than I remembered it being.
