I'm personally not that big of a TMNT fan to know who that is (some furbait character apparently), but the only character I really wanted to appear in this game, but didn't really expect, because from what little I understand it's not really popular, is actually in.

It also looks pretty slow and hits don't stagger much which is by far the most annoying part of Platinum games (besides the length)

This is just another cheapo depot Activision cash grab made by a few on the side team like Korra and Transformers while the bulk of the studio works on Nier. Really no reason to get excited about this. Game will probably be 5 hours at most with simple controls and little replay value.
If it has a 4man coop gameplay then it would be great.
Platinum sticking to that dang cel-shaded look again. Won't buy if there's no alternate costumes

Most of the staff on Automata is Square Enix crew that did the first. From what I have read the PlatinumGames people are more or less over head supervisors on the combat.

I kinda feel like it is. Someone else is making the story setting and in this case even the graphics while the other person is pretty much putting together the gamplay/combat.
Im sure it will be longer than the others due to the team involved but I personally have fears of repetition getting out of hand considering how SE is anyway.
