at least it would explain to them how to do it. actually doing it on the other hand... I find it ridiculous a game like cs can have so many playrs and yet your shots go out of your crosshair due to weapon patterns. it just doesn't seem like a good game mechanic considering its the only fps to do that with bullets..

You could move around in a bubble shield as well. You sound like a scrub who couldn't figure out how to do anything other than run away when someone did something you didn't like. Armor lock was only good for two things:
>popping it on for a split second when someone was going to splatter you
>popping it on for a split second when someone is in melee range and letting the EMP down their shield
Anybody who complains about not being able to beat armor lock is bad at the game, and anybody who actually used it for more than a burst is even worse at the game.

Giving Scorpions functional armor didn't change the flow of the game? What about nerfing the pistol, or adding swords that give you a dash? Every addition changed the flow of the game. If you think changing the pistol, adding swords, and changing Scorpion armor from Halo CE aren't big changes then you never understood the multiplayer. Letting Active Camo hide your sword alone was a huge deal. Armor abilities are weapons too, and that's a fact.

Each ability has advantages and disadvantages. Choosing which power weapon and whether or not you want to go pick it up is the same. The advantage is a strong weapon, the disadvantage is situational use and the danger of getting to it and fighting other players for it. There's no difference and again, it comes to "I didn't like it."

And that's cool anon, I'm not condemning your choices at all. I'm just presenting the facts. I loved H3 and Reach equally myself, for different reasons. Sad that Halo 3 gets very little play now though, while Reach still has on average 15k players.

I wouldn't think an explanation would be necessary when comparing rocket launchers, laser swords, sniper rifles, missile pods, and spartan lasers to a jetpack, a go fast button, a hologram, and an overshield that lasts 1.5 seconds and locks you into not moving. Do you really not see how the weapons actually advance the game and the abilities are just utility?
