Except my Wii U has the homebrew channel on the vWii which opens up flawless playing of Wii and GC ISOs, as well as almost perfect emulation of every other Nintendo console.

I'll give you the performance issues for sure, it's not perfect but they're payable. I'd suggest a pc over any of these three, but xbone is my preferred console.

If you're into nintendo games, sure I'll give you that. I haven't played anything nintendo recently other than SNES emulation, I've been really getting into Dark Souls. I'm looking forward to DS3 mostly, and since I don't have a computer that can run it I'll prob pick it up on the xbox first.

If Killer Instinct wasn't coming out for the PC, this would have been a much harder decision. WiiU, it has some pretty cool gameslike Tropical Freeze.

NX is launching this year because Zelda is launching this year
One of the Wii U's problems was being late to market, which is what happens when you purposefully sit on hardware so long that they're incredibly dated by the time you release them. They're not making that mistake again.
NX will be revealed in the next few months and then launched at the end of the year, at least in Western territories. Maybe 2017 for Japan since they don't have a big christmas season over there like we do.
