Having the 3 consoles of both old and actual generation and never had played on PC, should I invest in one?
I don't really care about the PC exclusives, just want to play the multiplataforms in Mustard Race Tier.
It's unnecessary if you're content with your consoles.

Which is?

Is this bait? I gotta know now.
Building a PC just made me realize how much I play exclusives over multiplats. I wouldn't say not to do it, but beware that you might not use it for games as much as you expect.

as an old-timer idort, I'd say yes.
With a decent PC, you can technically play anything ever made.
There's no "generations" like on consoles, as you can play any older games on the latest PC, either straight away or with a help of some compatibility patch. Also it's piss easy to emulate console games from 2gens older machines.
This means you literally got an access to tens of thousands of games, from mid 1950s to 2016. And then you got maybe another half of that more to play in form of user-made mods, that can range from simple visual alterations, to total overhauls that count as their own new games.
And when it comes to PC exclusives, there's like 5000+ of those. More so if you count ones that only later got console ports.

This is the reason I thinking in building a PC.I turn on my WiiU 2 times a year, but having the opportunnity to do so, compensates.

same anon as >>330709720 here,
besides some very few console-exclusive surprise hits, I've been quite PC centric player the past few years now. Be it emulating my old favorite console titles, trying out old games I skipped or missed when I was young, or re-living some PC games with some mods, there seems to always be content to experience with the mustard-race machine. Every now and then it even gets some nice exclusive that really rocks my socks off.
I've stuck with my PS3 thanks to the MGS series and some JRPGs, plus the possibility of easily running some PS2 classics in HD.
I've been planning of getting a current-gen console for years now, but so far every single reason (MGS5, FF Type-0...) have become available on PC as well.
With Square now releasing apparently all of their FF games on Steam (sooner or later), the WiiU's new Zelda is the only game I'm kinda cautiously looking forward to. But by the time that arrives, the console will prolly cost next to nothing.
