but as you continue to play youll slowly realize this is all youll be doing for the entire game it doesnt change at all so about 5 hours or so i got bored of it

It's just Far Cry 3 with spears instead of guns and fewer ways to move around, only they didn't make any improvements to melee combat so it's boring as fuck
You just run around grinding for ingredients to get boring ass upgrades that barely do anything
The only minutely good thing about it is that it looks pretty and they actually made a fictional neanderthal language

I enjyoed it but it isn't a good game. At best it's mediocre in every aspect, except for world and sound design which are great.
If you like the Far Cry formula in a differentand honestly quite prettysetting and don't mind a bit of grinding, go for it when it's on sale.
