A friend challenged me to defeat him in Top Gear tomorrow.
He always picks the red car with manual transmission, what car should i pick?
white is best

It seems that white has the best handling and low fuel consumption but it's the slowest.
I'm afraid he will just zoom past me in most tracks. Are blue or purple viable options?
White. Better handling at high speeds and lower fuel consumption means fewer pit stops
This game has top tier soundtrack. I always take the blue one. But really you should try by yourself and see which corresponds the most to your play style.

Just take the white one. Your friend will either risk driving to the finish line while the gas needle on red or refuel often

There's a lot of tracks where you don't have to pit/only pit once, compared to other cars.
I never played this 2 player, but whenever I played red, it was pretty sketchy on some tracks.
That being said, red technically the best just because its the fastest, but white is consistent.

You can do well with the blue one, I always called it green though. Purple is the worst, it consumes too much fuel

nice to see some bros who played TG before

It seems that purple is the second fastest car, behind red, and consumes slightly less fuel.
If that's correct that would make purple a bad choice since the difference in fuel consumption does not make up for the difference in speed. Blue seems more balanced for speed/fuel consumption.

Actually, better video with all the OST
Purple is the obvious counter-pick

Why?
