I'd guess the PS4 runs around 95 high, but I don't own one and wouldn't know.

Covering a console immediately after turning it off would definitely prolong how long it stays hot though, but it wouldn't keep getting hot as if it were still on.

That won't stop dust from getting in during normal use. Putting a blanket does nothing to help the system when it's off either, unless you want to keep dust off that little glossy part of it.
