Wouldn't they just pull the same shit they did with Arbiter? It's not the one you played as in Halo 2 or whatever, it's a composite of a lot of Arbiters. So instead of John-117 we'd get a mish mash of a bunch of Spartans.
And I actually like we got the Arbiter instead of John/a Spartan. It's a strange choice but I like that it's strange for some reason. It's like they deliberately did not go with everyone's first choice. And I don't even give a shit about Halo, only played the first game way back when it was new and didn't like it enough to keep up with the series.

in fable 2 there was a character name hal who appeared out of the blue wearing master chiefs armor an energy sword and assault rifle. In celtic hal means chief thats why he was called hal.

That's 7 new characters since inception, 8 if you count Shadow Jago. The original game only launched with 11 characters. KI Gold only added 4 new characters.
Even the Street Fighter games only have 5 or so new characters per game.

Gargos pretended to be a Tiger Spirit. In either Chinese or Japanese myth, I can't remember which, Tigers fighting Dragons are kind of a big thing. Now we got a character with some kind of Dragon Spirit. Eyedol and Gargos are enemies obviously. So I wouldn't be surprised if Kim's dragon turns out to be Eyedol in some form.
