You should buy me a copy so I can give it a positive review. That would REALLY show /v/.

What I expected
>Buy a game
>Game has shit ton of stuff to do
>When done with game can replay for extra shit or for fun

What I got
>Game has 1 mission
>Replay 1 mission because that's all the content

sorry but how can I kill the female target as an accident?
If I poison her and her body gets found, does it still count as accident?

I'm personally really enjoying the game. I've got 6 hours in so far with 14 mastery on Paris, hoping to beat the escalations for the tutorial level tonight. Pretty excited to see what the next level brings. Only complaint I have is that they really really need to optimize this game more.
>>
Im having fun with it, 1 proper mission is kinda short though. First run of the Paris mission took me a bit over an hour, but like all the hitman games once you know where shit is you can finish it in 5 minutes.

These are all pretty bad. Now, the first two are fixable, but the last one is something i'm not going to put up with.

>>

You can start in offline.
>>
>>330587907
Seems that way. It has poor optimization.

I have a 770 and I would get 20 FPS on lowest settings.
>>
>>330587416

Literally the only thing you're missing online is achievements and one decent contract a week(?)
>>
>>330583448
Game has poor optimization. How are people entitled because they want it run better?
>>
>>330587907
There was a thread about it yesterday.

It will run fine, but AMD wins the performance comparison for a change making NVidia fags pretty salty.

It's funny how Nvidiafag lose their mind when AMD does a Goyimworks move.
The sad part is that the whole game will suffer for it, just look at the reviews. It also shows just how strong the Nvidia monopoly is.
>runs bad on nvidia?
>our good goys will trash it until its ruined
Now, I don't mean that Nvidia users shouldn't demand better performance, I mean you fags should experience it, and remember it next time Nvidia trashes a game on AMD hardware.
>>
>>330588654

DX11->DX12 is not that difficult, it's even easier ->Vulkan
The only thing that changes is removal of bottleneck, you'd expect wonky lighting if anything but all the tasks should be running as normal.

Odds are that's Nvidia because
>80+% market share so stats wise it would be
>This is a AAA game that for once backs AMD instead of noshing off Nvidia, and now it's their turn to get buggered not out of malice but out of ignorance and sloth
>The fact this goes away in DX11 (where Nvidia is designed to be strongest and yet will still struggle not trying to seriously update their shit)
>>

Funnily enough I got black screen issues on Windows in general yesterday and after purging all my drivers away with a 3rd party tool in safe mode, now I get no stutter in DX11 on AMD/AMD. Considering lowest settings still looks far better than Blood Money it's flawless for me bar the odd once-every-hour-and-a-half server outage for a second disconnecting me.
>>
>>330589248

What's the relevance of Gameworks Cuboid?
>>
Can't even play the Paris mission with my R9 380. Frames drops to 5-15 FPS with everything on low.
>>
>>330588895
It runs like shit for almost everyone.
>>
>>330589235
So why is pc better for games when the devs ( people who make the fucking games) do a poor a job on pc compared to consoles. So sounds like to me a console is much more dependable

Not on ps4
>>
>>330589519

Asides from purging your drivers for a clean install of 16.3, and maybe turning on Radeon Settings -> Shader Cache, you can speed it up massively if you pause entering a new area and see an FPS counter (I use Steam overlay's) jump up to 60 to show it's finished streaming it in the background while all the AI/physics etc is paused.
I have a 380X.

It still has a big lurch starting the level though.
>>
Crack when?
>>
>>330589679

Because the consoles run on AMD.
The people crying are almost entirely Nvidia.
(Some of us though are just unlucky with driver maintenance)

There was a time some would consider a demanding game a good thing, like a new Crysis. I wouldn't be too surprised considering this isn't exactly Far Cry.
>>
>>330585414
Apparently shills aren't needed so long as there are fucktards like you who'll buy a game without reading the first thing about it. The fact that this is episodic has been at the absolute forefront of their marketing, you are the cancer.
>>
Why not play blood money?
They still haven't got it right with the newest one anyways; they went back to the SA shit of "MILITARY AND MILITARY ONLY"
>>
This is why i'm glad that i bought a ps4.
Used to be a PC gamer for a looong time but i don't have the time/money to be on PC anymore.

>>330583524
This. Where's mine anon, I want to spite /v/
>>
>>330583281
It's a very good game with a bunch of stupid shit surrounding it. I don't know what they were thinking with the always online and episodic release.
>>
>>330583448
>mfw there are people unironically getting mad at this
Delicious.
>>
>>330591076
But the PS4 runs it at 20-60 FPS.
The problems are everywhere.
>>
>denuvo
>always on

literally why

No one cares about Hitman, no one was going to pirate it, why shovel so much shit on the small fanbase the series has?
>>
>>330592170
So they kill Hitman for good
SE has done it to RotTR too
And somewhat to JC3
Notice how these 3 had Denuvo but Lightning Returns didn't
SE doesn't give a shit about anything that's not Japanese
>>
>>330592170
>memes
>>
I don't get it.

How is Denuvo a problem or the problem?

I mean the game is good right? They delivered what fans asked??
>>
>>330593824
It's drm, it's bad on principle alone
Steamworks is bad enough
And no the game is crap
Terrible performance, casualized, shit graphics, episodic
SE is trying to make it bomb so they kill off hitman for good
>>
>>330593824
Denvo is a resource hog and the game is always online. That ruins any game.
>>
>>330593824
Fans didn't ask for an episodic, shitty port with 3 DRMs and shitty performance.
>>
>>330586942
>always online
it's not, I'm playing fine offline

Actually fps drops when it's o nline for some fucking reason
>>
>>330594090
Anon.
Can you please post a screenshot of your game on steam?

I know already you don't own the game.
>>
>>330593824
I don't WANT DRM.
God damn, I'm tired of being treated like a fucking criminal because devs are HORRIFIED of pirates (who just won't buy their game).
It's like they're fucking retarded or something.
>>
A shitty PC release and release structure in general is unfortunate in that its distracting people from how good this game is.

I think Paris is my favourite level from any Hitman game besides maybe Traditions of the Trade.
>>
>>330594878
Of course I don't have it
I don't buy shit with superfluous drm
I did play it though
It's pretty bad
>>330595069
They ARE retarded
>>
It's the best Hitman has been in years. The tutorial climax is wonderful, and the Paris stage is absolutely huge. It's built as a social stealth puzzler just like the originals, and the more time you spend with Paris the more evident it becomes that this game has the potential to be Hitman at its absolute best. Absolution was a fucking turd but this is almost perfect steps in exactly the right direction; Paris is huge, sprawling, operates like a puzzler, and has countless ways to take out your target. Many of the new objective systems are integrated very well.

Unfortunately it's also so horrendously buggy that your moment-to-moment play can be ruined by stuttering and outright crashes. Sometimes it wont even boot for me. And the whole "always online" thing is neat from a shared-data perspective, but fucking rubbish for actually trying to play the game. Massive fuck-up by Square there.

So I dunno. If the subsequent stage releases hold up to Paris then I think down the track once they're out and the game is nicely patched HITMAN could be a strong contender for the best in the series, or just under Blood Money. What's there is that good. But the current state is pretty bad, if just because of the bugs and crashes. Magnificent when working.

That's my quick review. Resume complaining.
>>
>>330595263
It seems like the people who made absolution learned a lot from their mistakes.

It's a shame that SE decided to push their episodic shit on this game.
>>
>>330584747
>>330584857
>>330585117

nice samefagging

imagine defending this shit lol
>>
Is there any precedent for a publisher to remove drm during a game's normal life cycle? I can't remember a more jarring dissonance between a game and the jewery behind it, the levels of bullshit here are mind-boggling. The multiple levels of DRM might do serious damage to the game's sales.
>>
>>330593824
what is good about invasive always online DRM?
>>
>>330589760
It runs better than PS4.

Console standards are just outstandingly shit.
>>
Anyone disappointed by how 47 looks?

>start series as mature central-yuro looking gentleman, wizened but not at all handsome

>eventually evolve into a creepy-looking fifty year-old bodybuilder

>now a pretty little fuccboi that probably has the phrase 'otter-mode' in his dictionary
