how do i stop being shy.
i can do callouts fine if the rest of the team are chill and mostly quiet but if they're talking a lot and cracking jokes i can't make myself say anything so i just pretend i don't have a mic the whole game.

Yeah nah, if you arent good enough to carry or not good enough to read deaths in the kill fields and X's on the map as well as blatant sound queues, you're just bad and i'd rather just not talk to you :^)

I used to have problems calling people on the phone, I still get anxious when I do, but it's not that bad once you start the call. You just have to do it, you will probably still feel anxious but you need to remind yourself that what you're doing isn't significant to the other people. They are doing the same thing as you. You have nothing to worry about so just do it.

when i played competitively we were encouraged non-stop to communicate always. our team was so vocal that other teams would get pissy and tell us to shut the fuck up.
but there's no rule against team chatter, so they would try and get loud but would just be panicking each other, was really funny to experience.
there is nothing like LAN competing.
