Actually, a spearhead like that could inflist greater damage to body cavities. So yeah.

It would have made it really good at getting stuck in people after stabbing them. The mark of a shit tier medieval melee weapon.

False.

Go-to weapon in most games in terms of "cool" is usually a scythe. Not because it's edgy or "dark" but because the attacking movements that are required with that kind of weapon usually end up being really acrobatic and stylish.
Dark Souls 2 did a pretty good job with some of the reaper class weapons. Vindictus gets an honorable mention.
Darksiders 2 still takes the cake, though.

a divided spearpoint is actually stronger than a solid spear tip because the triangular shape its self reinforced so it will stab shit like a straight sword. The hollow part will act as a bloodletter allowing the spear to glide through the entire body

So why were solid spears standard?
>>330516597
not saying he's right about the spear with the hole in it being better, but solid spears were probably much easier to make
>>330515179
No. An unenclosed (which defeats the purpose of using a triangle for structural integrity) triangle shaped hole arbitrarily placed in the center of a lozenge spearhead would not reinforce it. The narrow sides would just be prone to snapping.
You also have blood groove mechanics backwards. They were intended to allow blades to be removed easier (which is a bs myth anyway), not to penetrate easier. An actual hole, however, would allow a blade to get snagged and stuck. There's a reason why such designs are strictly ornate.
And your comment about stabbing like a straight sword simply makes no sense. Normal spearheads already function that way. Swords were inferior to bludgeoning weapons anyway.
