How does /v/ feel about this game?
It's pretty good. I liked Colloseum more, but XD has the superior Minor B theme.

I loved Colosseum but this felt empty and less comparable to the prequel. I tried to play this but I think I stopped midway from boredom. rip
The increased amount of Shadow Pokemon and their abilities were nice but the story and characters weren't as good as Colosseum.
Still a solid game though.

The game was all right, though. I thought it did better at making the game feel like an actual adventure but I can't help but hate how they shipped an expansion of the original game as its own.
That being said the battles were okay, the locations were either taken from Colosseum or actually unique, like the ship in the desert. Music was god-tier, and it provided a lot of hours as a kid to play through. I also hate how Shadow Lugia literally does fucking nothing throughout the game past the opening cutscene.
Overall, it's a solid 6/10, looking back on it. Not a bad game but it's nothing too special.

I can't believe people actually like this snoozefest. Battling takes foreeeeveeeeeer, the characters are Linkin Park incarnate, the dialogues were probably written by 6 year olds, the story is boring, the places you go to are empty and ugly, it doesn't fit the Pokemon universe, did I mention it's fucking boring?
