I'm playing HotA which tries to balance things a bit without breaking the game, but it would be nice to be able to ban Town Portal and Diplomacy.

Is there a HoMM3 mod that makes the AI better but prevents it cheating? Having them bum rush you with 60+ T6 units on week 2 because the AI effectively has hacks is fucking gay.

Great game might be a bit of a stretch, but I still really enjoyed MMX and played it through. It could've used some more of the weird fucking setting of Xeen as opposed to the super vanilla modern M&M but gameplay-wise I had a good time.
Unfortunately I'm not so sure it sold well enough for Ubisoft to let them have another go at it, even though they had fuck-all budget which is apparently why it used assets from so many other M&M games.
