Because Dynasty Warriors is shallow as fuck and the PvP is weak. For Honor has a really interesting guard system along with dodging and attacks that make a difference when and where they're being used.

Also, For Honor is going to blow. It's literally dumbed down Mount and Blade with shitty MOBA mechanics. The lock on requirement for fighting other players will make 1vN engagements next to impossible.

I'm not defending it entirely, because to me it seems boring as fuck, but there's definitely potential in the combat. More focus on positioning and being able to change swing direction during a swing, if done right, would help. Especially if it let you target other people during a swing.
