Ubisoft is bringing Pre-Order Bonuses to movies.

Not sure whether I should laugh or cry.

Get some new images, newdit.
The second last step will be a snackickstarter.
>The movie will not continue until we reach an x Snickers sold quota
The last step will be replacing Snickers with Mars.

this is the future we chose
>>330372564
ubisoft is on fucking fire this year, holy shit
I have seen the future, and its jewish.
Congratulations, the videogame Jews have finally -- FINALLY -- infiltrated the bastion of cinema.

>tfw
nothing wrong with ubisoft trying to make some money of some dumb idiots, it's what they do , these companies are nothing without someones support
>>330373441
>movies
>not infested with jews
Why are slippery slope people ALWAYS right? This is making me worry that Anita might actually come into my house to cut off my balls one night.
>>330372564
We've gone too far.
What, no season pass options? I can't buy a pass to all the other big films Fox is releasing in the Winter of 2016 like The Maze Runner 3 and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
>>330372564
Next they'll bring DLC and microtransactions to movies.
>Millenials are going to defend this
>Five years from now, it will be considered the norm
Might as well get your bodies ready for movie Season Passes. Pay an extra $40 and you get to see three additional 15-minute 'episodes' over the course of three months or so. Coincidentally, the average length of movies will drop to an hour.
I'm trying to think of something to post but I just don't know how to answer to this.
>>330372564
>The Division
>a half assed massively downgraded average clone of Destiny set in debilitated New York City
>broke the record of the most successful Ubisoft title ever released
All Ubisoft is hearing is "we can literally fuck up harder than EA, push more faggotry than Activision and Blizzard combined and yet succeed."
Which is translating into PIC FUCKING RELATED.
Why oh WHY are you surprised.
Nay, I say! Nay!
>>330374439
I find that hard to believe.
Why are people so hyped for such generic shit?
What's the problem, Ubisoft is just making money off people who didn't need it anyway :^)
Not really surprised by this though
>pay to see movie
>gets rereleased a few months later with extended and previously deleted scenes I have to pay for again
Wooooooooooooooow this is bullshit
>>330374309
>$5 for more scenes with your favorite characters
>SJW censorship in movies and trigger warnings before the film shows
>buy the movie ending for only $20
What's the point of pre-order tickets for movies? I didn't have to for The Force Awakens or anything else. Just show up early and pick your seat.

Cinema is probably the most jewist business there is. Actually, i am interested in seeing if we will have a jew vs jew happening
>>330374836
The same reason as for games, which is that there is no reason at all. It doesn't benefit you one bit, only the publisher and the retail outlets. That's why they have to entice you into it with shiny gold weapon skins that make you feel like you're getting a 'bonus'.
>>330374967
>Actually, i am interested in seeing if we will have a jew vs jew happening
Nah, the Hollywood jews will probably just consider it an excellent idea and start thinking of ways to take it even further.
>>330374836
You can't tell your friends of fudgebook you're SOO hyped and you can NOT wait for the latest BUZZ movie.
If they invented a medicine to cure or prevent impulse purchase the world economy would collapse in a year.
>>330374586
Because peer pressure and lack of a stable games library on the console.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_One_games
There are 35 titles that are original to the XB1. The greater 8xx number is irrelevant, because majority of the titles on that list have only been announced and are otherwise unreleased.
When your library is 35 games wide, and half those titles arguably don't appeal to at least 35-40% of the market, you're looking at around 12 games over two years--and considering most of these 60 dollar experiences generally end within a 4-6 hour session, basically leaves you with a desperate need to play something new.
So yeah, generics; generics everywhere.
>>330373441
>Mel Brooks
>Woody Allen
>Steven Spielberg
>Stanley Kubrick
>Roman Polanski
>Joel Shuemaker
No shit, you're picking up on this now?
>>330374836
Well, for some theatres you have to reserve seats so getting them early is important.
>>330375162
It's a shame since Ubisoft can put out quality stuff when they aren't focused on the money aspect, just look at the recent Rayman games.
Unfortunately, your average consumer will go out and purchase the average, assembly-line open world game instead.
>>330374836
Preorders are the embodiment of these times, how short term gains are everything and how being able to prove your investors your product made a lot of money quickly is better than releasing a quality game.
Companies operate on fiscal quarters, and they can't allow a big "hyped" game to sell overtime, it must make all its money in the release window.
>>330375503
Reserved seats are some retarded shit. Who could possibly prefer reserved seats over first come first serve?
>>330375661
>people will pay $15 to get into a theater for a movie
>why not let those same people pay $40 just so they can get their seat early without hassle?
Extra money, and everyone's happy
>>330375661
Normal trendy people who love planning shit on their cellphone.
>>330375661
Theres a very nice theater in my area that makes you reserve your seat with a ticket purchase, cost 15 bucks but the seats are giant lazyboys that recline and vibrate.
Shits cash
