Not all JRPG's are turn based (Tales, Star Ocean, Mana, Ys)
EXTREMELY FEW WRPG's are that grid style combat like Grimrock or EotB.
So this whole thread is a fallacy.
The best real time combat systems are Japanese (Tales, Dark Souls), and the best Turn Based system is Western (Divinity: Original Sin)
