There are shortcuts for the motion.
These all work
>f, d, df, f, uf, + p (fast enough)

Feel free to be as sloppy as you want. You actually can't get hadoken after walking forward unless you wait a few frames (or are very slow at input).

The only mash input that DOESNT work is a clean DF, DF + P. For scrubs, mashing df will usually result in a f or d input in the middle though, so that can work.

The method most pros use is to use a normal to keep themselves grounded for enough time to do the motion. If you can buffer the first 360 into your normal, you just need to be fast enough to get the last 225 within the super window.

You can train yourself to end your input at DF, or you can just hit the button faster. Turn on input display. Ideally, you want the punch icon to appear next to the DF arrow, even if there's a F arrow after, it doesn't matter.

Serious question. Anyone have tips for rapid fireball motions on the 1P side (i.e., for a super)? On 2P I can quickly just curl my fingers on the stick to do them. On 1P I'm much slower so canceling is tricky.

Pretty sure this is bait. SFV's inputs are pretty fucked though, because downback into DP motion reads as 236236. Its extremely annoying when you have super, because then you get a super instead of a dragon punch because they increased the input leniency EVEN MORE. V is a good game but jesus christ the input shortcuts are close to ruining it for me

This would be understandable if it were a game like Guilty Gear, but im fairly certain they introduced the system to be LESS executionally intensive, not more. I dont have any issues with execution (I play I-No ffs) but the increased input window definitely makes it MORE difficult to get the move you want, not less. Which is exactly the opposite of what they intended.
