I've seen screenshots of that floating around, but I'm completely perplexed as to how they got that resolution with VX Ace.
Seriously, why is RPG Maker resolution locked to such a tiny screen out of the box? Even with scripts the max I've managed is 640 x 480, and fullscreen fucks up on Windows 10.

Dunno, but MV allows you to change it out of the box with one of the default plugins. It's really shaping up to be a straight upgrade over past versions; all it's really lacking is scripts, and folks like Yanfly are pumping those out pretty damn fast anyway.

Simple. Some asshole finds RPG Maker. They find out that they can sell games with it, so they make a game, or some kind of approximation. Then they toss it up for sale without ever paying a dime more than it cost to buy RPG Maker to begin with.

Except you need to pay $100 to put your first game up on Greenlight. You only get a free pass after your first game actually makes it onto the store.
I hate every last little shit that uses the default assets with RPGMaker like this nigga did. He's terrible at mapping too. Pisses all over my work that I put into making a good map, finding/making custom assets/tilesets and editting custom chars together.I have to put some effort in if I want a CG-less (because I can't into Art, I'm not paying an artist nor am I stealing pictures that I've literally based the game around) Exhibitionism Hentai game to be worth playing

Some of us actually enjoy sprite lewdness and the story. Exhibitionism is all about the mindset, the thoughts, the atmosphere, CGs are nice but the whole picture has to be painted for proper Exhibitionism.
Same reason I like VH as much as I do, it ain't the depth(but it has good depth), it's the fact that NPCs actually react to your state of (un)dress and you can streak if you want to.

Even my rpg projects, though never finished and abandonded after creating few maps were heavily detailed and took days to make them look nice. Not to mention npcs, dialogue and neat events.
