Monks are kinda fucked on PotD since they need to get hit in order to charge their powers, but in PotD everything hits hard so you want to get hit as little as possible.

Kana and his arquebus are good when you get them, but he's entirely passive and guns fall off hard at mid- and endgame so all you've got left is his songs, which granted are good, but not nearly as good or as fun as Druid magic.
Got close to the end but never finished the game before changing computers and losing my save. Played a Hunter last time (or whatever the class with pet is called) and found it shit. Is Rogue a fun class to play or is there a better one i should take?

Rogue is all right with the right abilities and perks, but it's absolutely boring outside of being the primary melee backstab class and trap disarmed. Still fun if the party holds up.
