Whether or not this is true there are a few choices you can make as always. You can :
a) buy the game and send a message to the producers that they will still get paid regardless of their choices and support practices you disagree with.
b) pirate the game and send the message that games aren't worth localizing because you're not going to pay for them anyway.(They have no reason to believe you'll buy the game after "testing" it)
c) Don't buy the game no matter what the majority of the gaming community chooses to do, and hope that enough people choose this option as to make an impact.
Do you care? Do you have hope that there are enough vocal people on your side that a change will occur? Are you okay with settling.

I didn't care about the censorship in the first one. Three minor changes in a costume wasn't that big of a deal and I felt everyone was getting their panties in a bunch for nothing. But now that they decided to completely remove said panties and from every single costume, I'm not going to buy it.
I'm okay with minor changes but not changing fucking everything.
I'm on chapter 5 now and did the quests without knowing of the censorship.
The quests flowed fine and I had no issue with them and other than that I fucking love the game as the part that matters (the gameplay) is fine

It's not entirely confirmed.
In the JP version you're forced to pick sides for sidequests and there can be negative consequences for your choices such as characters dying.
Apparently in the EU version the consequences are the same regardless of your choice so you can't see bad things happen. You automatically get the positive outcome.
