I wouldn't mind the change if they didn't just hastily paint purple over the original sprite. More colors on a single sprite than it should have; it just looks ugly and clashes with everything. I would've rather they just edited the sprite completely than plaster shit over it like that. It's just lazy.
I mean, I had a go at trying to do a better job of censoring Jynx. One on the left uses a different color palette that other Pokemon in Yellow use (purple, like modern Jynx's face), while the right one uses the original palette. I'd rather they kept the original sprite, but if they were going to change it they could have at least put in more effort.

It's not the fact that Jynx was changed, that's understandable. It's the fact that they changed the sprite from its original form in Yellow. they should have left it in tact. Jynx was Black in Yellow, retroactively changing it is annoying. It's not the end of the world like some of these FE memelords would have you think, but it's definitely irritating.

Uri Geller sued Nintendo over Kadabra. Kadabra is a Psychic Pokemon that bends spoons, and its Japanese name is Yungerer (a corruption of Uri Geller). Even though Nintendo argued otherwise, it pretty clearly took some inspiration from Geller.
This all happened in 2000, and I don't think Geller actually got anything out of it. Either way, since then they've always avoided using Kadabra in promotional material. It hasn't been in the anime since Gen 3, and I don't think there's been a Kadabra Pokemon card since before even that: to get around it, all Abra cards have a "Super Evolution" ability that let them skip straight to Alakazam.
