Quick tip for easy money. You will need the ability Master Thief, but other than that no level or story requirements.
Go to Bitterblack Isle and run or fight your way through to Midnight Helix. There is a cyclops chained on the wall in this room. Run up to him and use Master Thief. You will get 4 items worth slightly under 20,000 gold. Run back and exit the room. Repeat as necessary. There is also a low chance to steal Cursed Novelties and Gear which can turn out to be really useful items.
Pic related, me after farming the cyclops for about 10 minutes. No more need to run after every fallen coin pouch like some starving Indian slum child.

You shouldn't be using sanctuary anyway. Its a shitty augment.
Also, best way to dragonforge your shit is to bring rancid bait meats to duskmoon tower. Kill the wyvern that spawns there, wait for a few minutes to see if a cursed dragon comes. If it doesn't, drop a meat and kill the dragon, leave area, re-enter area. If the meat is still there dragon might spawn again. If you're too slow, drop another meat.
With zero enhancements theres a 40% chance for dragonforging from a cursed dragon. With 3 star its 75%. Statistically speaking, this means if you do at least three dragons you have a very high chance of dragonforging all your gear. This is post-daimon of course.

So I just beat Grigori and restarted in hard mode after getting my dragonforged equipment and dragon weapons.
I played strider->ranger the whole way through to level 41, and right now I'm just levelling the fighter vocation against goblins to get Sinew and then I plan to rush through NG+ with Assassin for the strength gain
My real objective is to get to the BBI content, but I get the feeling it might have been faster to just grind through the everfall first as pure Ranger before tackling it.

Where can I buy a sword that does magic damage instead of phys? Vendor at Gran Soren doesn't have it, Black Hat doesn't sell it, I switched from lvl 18 Sorcerer to Mystic Knight and all my growths have been in magic. If there's no such option, perhaps I should go Warrior for some 20 levels so I can have high enough STR later on. I like to optimize the build somewhat.
I was also thinking of going Ranger for a while to get stamina augment.

Assuming you are on Daimon 1.0...
Climb up to his face and whack him.
You will probably get fucking pummeled when he decides to fly up and crash into the floor. Stay on his back. When he lights himself on fire jump up right before it flares then grab him again on the way down.
Given you're level 72...you will probably do chip damage for the entirety of the fight. Assuming you get 3 hearts down, his vortex will fuck all your pawns and probably you. Use liquid vim, climb to his head and hope you can stagger him out of it before all three of your pawns are banished. This is also where you should use conqueror periapts.
If you don't have liquid vim or peraipts on you...then you should just die, retry, and ferrystone out because you ain't gonna kill him.

You can go through the game solo, in fact one of the classes gets buffs for playing solo (Assassin)
But it'll be somewhat difficult as certain enemies have grabs that need allies to break you free, and it'll be harder to take advantage of elemental weaknesses, also you'll have less overall carrying capacity.
Overall nothing you can't deal with in some way, just keep those in mind.

Keep running through BBI getting levels and hope tier 2 or 3 weapon/armor drops and that it isn't useless shit like the fucking gransys greatsword.
If you're strong enough, go smack around the gorecyclops in the big tower room. Alternatively, farm cursed dragons in duskmoon tower with rancid bait meat.
Or just run through the hardest areas you can repeatedly (rest 3 days in between trips to get chests to respawn).
BBI isn't something that you can just run through and beat in one go.

Beat him on level 60 just stabbing him in the face and he never knocked me off, never really got to doing much because he was pretty much stunlocked by maelstrom.
In fact he hit me once the entire fight, knocking me off him when he had literally a single hit left on his health.

Mystic Knight with barbed nails and Ruinous Sigil rapes BBI bad. Spamming it in corridors can literally juggle enemies to the point where they'll never touch you. It doesn't help that it casts so damn fast. Way more damage then GC spam, IMO.

Long answer: Yes but since you were a magick archer you have absolutely fucking zero strength so you'll be relegated to great cannon spamming. Also since you were magick archer you have no defense so you'll die the instant something looks at you. If you already have at least BBI tier 2 gears for your MK then ignore those warnings.

Depends largely on what class you are. If you're a melee class then yes you can have trouble with him at lower levels. If you're assassin or a magic class then no.
Also greatly depends on your pawns. If they are good pawns then you'll curbstomp daimon 1.0. If they are just mediocre or bad (as the vast vast majority of pawns are) they'll do fuck all and not stagger him at all.

Magick Archer has good defense growth anon. 3 defense and 4 magic defense per level. It's better than Mystic Knight's growth.

What's a good munchkin sorceror pawn build? I'm going full autism with the stat planning this time around and I'm trying to make a sorceror who can nuke with the best of them but that I won't have to babysit the whole time.
I've started him off as Fighter for 1-10 because Mage stat growths seem weak to me, and now I've changed him to a Sorceror immediately. My plan was 10 Fighter/40 Strider/50 Sorceror.
Also, what inclinations will help out most? I was thinking Utilitarian/Challenger/Mitigator.
