I've never watched these guys myself. The problem I have in general with youtube LPers/comedians?/ecelebs or whatever you want to call them is that they're not actually good at video games, they're consistently terrible. I've tried sitting through LPs before and 99% of them are unwatchable. I just don't see the appeal.
Are these guys any different or are there any other youtubers who're actually insightful or show off skillful gameplay?

Well my real hero is my Grandfather, he was an extermly hardworking man that took care of his family, saved a person's life, and fought in WWII. But he died in 1997 from cancer, so my Living hero is Pat. Even thought I am taller, have a career, and an education. Pat and I both had the same level of passion about nerdy shit and we both had the same anger. I respected that he was able to make a living doing something that he loved and cared about. While at the same time getting me into tons of new games mainly MGS V and the souls games. So I do look up to him, and I thought he pulled off a good relationship and it gave me hope. Something to keep in mind anon is that they record these episodes in giant chunks. So one joke being repeated over and over in several episodes may have been one joke at the beginning of the session that they thought was hilarious and kept thinking about it until they were done that day. It's not like they record a half hour at a time and conciously make the same jokes every time.
